Dearest lovely SIBlings,
I hope you are all enjoying this sunshine after all that rain this week! If you have not already noticed, there is a fun fair on the Vismarkt that would be perfect for a day like today. I’ve already heard some tales of SIBlings exploring the Ferris wheel together and trying out the churros. Make sure to check it out!
Please note that the office will still be closed for members this week. Contact a board member personally to find an appropriate time if there is any reason you do need to enter.
This Monday, dispuut QUE brought us an enlightening lecture on Chat GPT and AI by Dr Lambert Schomaker. He discussed the shortcomings of using Modern AI, particularly the lack of intentionality and lack of multimodality. It was a fascinating topical lecture, that inspired many thoughtful questions, a big thank you to everyone that came and supported QUE!
Then on Thursday, we had the very exciting Diplomats Dinner. The very lovely BOEF brought you the 11th edition of this illustrious event. We had a delicious meal and thrilling conversation with many diplomats and other representatives from countries ranging from Colombia to Iran to Lithuania! It was fantastic seeing so many of you there, learning and chatting! We look forward to next year’s event!
This Monday we will be having a lecture, organised in collaboration by Studium Generale, this will be taking place in the AULA, and will provide us with a college tour with the former Moldovan President, Natalia Gavrilita, interviewed by Franka Hummels. They will discuss what they learned and how to shape future foreign policy. This event is free but signing up is mandatory, you can do that through this link.

Whether you’re a seasoned hitchhiker or a first-timer, this is your chance to step outside of your comfort zone and discover new horizons. Don’t miss your chance!

In order to vote on the 25th, the board would like to request your presence so that you can give your opinion! Both of these GMAs will be taking place at The Cabin, starting at 19:47 sharp.
