What is the sib?
SIB-Groningen is an internationally oriented student association. All our activities are in English and we are the most diverse student association of Groningen. With about half Dutch, half international members, the SIB combines the opportunity to meet students from all over the world with the best aspects of Dutch student life: disputen, committees and borrels.

Introduction days: 19 & 21 august
If you just signed up as a new member, or want to visit us to see if you’d like to join as a member, you can sign up for one or both of our Introduction Days on Tuesday the 19th and on Thursday the 21st of August.

introduction camp: 12-14 september
During our yearly Introduction Camp in Tolbert you can get to know the SIB and your fellow members. It takes place from Friday the 12th of September to Sunday the 14th of September, and you can choose to join for both or just one of the nights.

Introduction period: September and october
Throughout September and October we have our regular Monday night lectures and drinks. We also have some extra events on Wednesdays and Thursdays. In order to make full use of this time, you can join the introduction dinners before the lecture to get to know you fellow SIBlings. Moreover, in this period you can visit some of the disputen to see if one of them would be a good fit for you.
