Youth Leadership and Development in Humanitarian Organisations
Monday 10 May, 20:00 - 21:30
Youth and young people are one of the most important elements in a community. As agents of behavioural change, mobilisers of communities and leaders, young people are often the point of reference humanitarian organisations. This has brought these organisations to develop strategies that feature the role of youth and its development in a prominent manner.
The International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent (IFRC) is one of those organisations and Marcel Stefanik has been working there as Global Technical Leader for Youth Engagement. Since he has been there, He has worked and is still working today in putting Young People, their issues and potentialities, at the centre of the general IFRC strategy and its everyday activities.
