Dear SIB Alumni and SIBlings,

The VVV-SIB Alumni Association proudly presents an inspiring evening featuring three distinguished speakers. Join us as Anna Conrad, Daan Stelder, and Geertruid Peene share their journeys after SIB, discussing their remarkable careers and the paths they took to achieve their goals.

🗣️ Meet our VVV-SIB Speakers:

• Anna Conrad: Anna has worked as a project officer at Wilde Ganzen in Amersfoort since 2023. She manages a portfolio of projects revolving around vocational training for youth and women and linking them to the labour market in Asia and Africa. Before that, she was 1,5 years at the CARE Climate Justice Center as an Intern. She was a SIB member from 2018-2022.
• Daan Stelder:  Daan has been a member of SIB-Groningen from 2008-2014. Now he works as Senior Project Manager at VNG International, based in the Hague. He manages projects in international cooperation with a focus on strengthening local governance in fragile contexts. At the moment his work mostly centres around project implementation in Somalia.
• Geertruid Peene: Geertruid joined SIB-Groningen in 2015 after she moved to Groningen for her study. She now works as a freelance journalist working for both national and local media on diverse topics ranging from geopolitics to local issues.
