The SIB Christmas Dinner is according to our tradition organized by the women in the Board. Why? We don’t know. What we do know is that in A.D. 350 Pope Julius I, bishop of Rome, proclaimed December 25 the official celebration date for the birth of Christ. What some say is that December 25 was probably chosen because it coincided with the ancient pagan festival Saturnalia, which celebrated the agricultural god Saturn with partying, gambling, and gift-giving.
And now you know! Even more reason to join us Monday the 14th for our Christmas dinner at ‘Goudkantoor’, an amazing restaurant with even more amazing food!
We have organised for you the following dinner:
19:00 Welcome with a glass of prosecco.
19:30 Three-course dinner with a dessert tasting including 3 drinks!
Entrée: mustard soup
Main dish: meat, vegetarian or fish
Dessert: red berry strudel, cheesecake, tiramisu
And there will also be coffee or thea afterwards!
All of this for only €25! You are probably all already longing for this amazing food (or drinks that’s fine too) after reading this, I know I am. So, don’t let the chance of amazing food and company pass, and sign up via firstname.lastname@example.org
And after the dinner we will go to the Troubadour for drinks! But not normal drinks. No, tonight we will keep following the fancy flow and offer cocktails! So, for everybody who doesn’t join the dinner, we will see you 22:30 at the Troubadour, where you will be served at the bar by the female Board members.
See you all there!
