“Artificial Intelligence” by prof. dr. Niels Taatgen

In this lecture, prof. dr. Niels Taatgen will first give an introductionary lecture to Artificial Intelligence. Afterwards, he will talk about Neuromorphic Computing, which is the designing of a computer that functions like a human brain. In other words, this concerns the building of an ‘analogue computer’. In Neuromorphic Computing, multiple disciplines like mathematics, biology and computer science come together in one project. In Groningen, the CogniGron center facilitates such multidisciplinary research. 

Niels Taatgen is involved in this center, but he also works as director of the Bernoulli Institute for Mathematics, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the RUG.
