74th Dies Natalis Conference: Freedom of Speech in the Digital Age

Traditionally, the Dutch United Nations Student Association (the SIB) organises a conference that is related to the topic of human rights in celebration of its birthday. This conference provides students and citizens of Groningen and its surroundings with a platform to actively engage with current events, explore different perspectives, and voice their opinions on the subject matter. Previous topics from recent years include ‘Unfolding the truth of organised crime’, ‘Terrorism and counter-terrorism’, and ‘Modern Slavery in Europe’.
This year the SIB will hold the Dies Natalis conference on the 25th of November 2021 and will aim to explore the topic of freedom of speech in the digital era.
